I am regular of Dom’s and never had a bad meal here. This restaurant looks deceiving from the outside, but you will be surprised that it’s a lot bigger inside.
Their menu is just like your traditional diner – big and with lots of choices. BUT I think they have the most variety of eggs Benedict I’ve ever seen in a breakfast place. They have the classic, Irish, country, California, tenderloin, Florentine, Polish and more. I bet I have tried them all.
Parking: This restaurant is always crowded, but parking is never a problem.
Reception: We were greeted and seated right away.
Décor/Dining Area: The décor needs to be updated, but this is one of those restaurants that you go for the food and not the décor.
Food: I always order the eggs Benedict. For this visit which I have a coupon, I opted for Dom’s hearty hash and banana nut French toast.
Dom’s hearty hash
Meaty corned beef
WOW! The hearty hash is probably one of the most delicious greasy breakfasts I’ve ever had. It has all the ingredients I like in one big plate; potatoes, sautéed onions, bell peppers, corned beef, melted cheddar cheese and eggs (cooked any style). It was nicely seasoned and not salty at all. The potatoes and bell peppers just melt in your mouth. The highlight of this meal was the big chunks and generous amount of meat. It was so good!
I have a pretty good appetite and usually don’t have take-outs, but this hearty breakfast was huge that I couldn’t finish.
Oh boy, the banana nut French toast was really good! It was perfectly cooked. It’s like eating a really good banana nut cake. They were thick, moist but not saggy and it’s filling. This is another MUST TRY!
Service: The coupon I had was actually expired. All I wanted was an $8 credit but the manager personally came up to our table and happily honored the full $16. That was really nice of him.
I don’t ever recall having lousy service here. The servers are always smiling and attentive. That’s why we keep going back.
Recommendation: A MUST TRY!!!
Side note, they’re open during lunch and breakfast.
