Happy Faces, Excellent Service and Great Food Selection
Hungry and refreshed, I was excited for my complimentary breakfast that typically comes with your stay at Marriott. I was welcomed and seated by a beautiful hostess as my eyes wandered around the décor, food, incredible number of staff, and lo and behold, of the CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN! I started weeping… NOT, that’s a lie.
Come on! A chocolate fountain for breakfast which I usually have during the holidays like Mother’s day and Thanksgiving brunches, but hardly on a regular Friday morning. What did I do to deserve this? I must have done something right, or was I in Las Vegas all along?
Feast your eyes and take your palette on a journey to an array of international cuisines, made-to-order options, salad bar, premium dishes made with fresh ingredients, seasonal fruits and of course desserts, desserts, desserts.
ORGANIC and ELEGANT DÉCOR
I admire the open kitchen concept and the use of raw and organic materials as wall accents and focal points. The warm color palette combined with rich color tones like brown and gold, and a touch of green and white accents create a sophisticated feel yet welcoming indulgent.
Chef Alejandro was replenishing the food and noticed that I was making myself “taho” – a popular Filipino street snack made with silken soy, caramelized brown sugar and tapioca. He paused what he was doing to help me prepare my “taho” and fill my plate with food. He even introduced me to foods that were worth trying.
It was a busy Friday morning, and yet every staff was smiling, happy to be of service, pleasant and accommodating. What a breath of fresh air to receive this kind of service. The manager was walking around making sure every customer was happy and getting a top-notch service.
